We are followers of "Slow Food".
That is why we strongly believe in high quality.
Our chef prefers regional products.
Among our suppliers are the trout farm Flach in the Wisper valley,
the cheese-dairy Hof Zorn in Heidenrod, the bee-master Hertel
with Rüdesheim vineyard and forest honey, the juice producer
Heil with unfiltered apple juice from local meadows and the butcher
Kempenich in Presberg with Rheingau game specialties.
They taste even better with wine - On our Rare Wine Card you find
some 300 Rheingau wines. All vintages since 1929 are available.
Even from 1893 to 1929 many extraordinary wines are for sale.
We have a great choice of first growths, ice wines, berry selections
and dried berry selections. There are red pinot noirs, both in classical
style and vinified in barrique. There are even wines bottled in
magnus (1,5l), Jeroboam (3l) and Imperial (6l).
We offer a chice of traditional local dishes, own specialities and
theme parties. You are welcome for light lunches, dinner and coffee
breaks or just a glass of wine.
Romantic garden with tillow tree and glockenspiel, winter garden and
cosy winestuben. Our live band music entertains you with piano,
saxophone, clarinet and violine, daily in the season. Have fun and
join in the great atmosphere with singing and dancing.
